Annotate supports bulk changes made to the object label classes on data units an Annotate Project.
Editing object label classes supports changing one object label type to the same label type. For example, bounding box to bounding box or bitmask to bitmask.
  • Use the Display settings to help find labels that require action.
  • Collections can help you keep track of the data units you perform actions on.
To edit object labels:
  1. Log in to the Encord platform. The landing page for the Encord platform appears.
  2. Click Project in the main menu. The landing page for Projects appears.
  3. Click a Project. The landing page for the Project appears.
  4. Click Explore. The Explore pages appears.
  5. Click Labels.
  6. Select the data units or Collection with labels to edit.
  7. Click Actions > Change class. A dialog appears.
    You can use the keyboard shortcut CONTROL + C to change object class.
  8. Select the object label classes you want to change under Classes to change.
  9. Select the object label class you want to change to under Change to.
  10. Click Initiate Bulk Edit Object Class. The process begins. A success messages once the action completes.
