3D Scene Annotation

The Cuboids across time tutorial is an interactive, 10-step in-editor tutorial (approximately 5 minutes) available in Scene-type (3D LiDAR/point-cloud) Projects. It guides you through the full multi-frame cuboid tracking workflow directly inside the label editor.To access the tutorial: Open a Scene-type Project in the label editor, click the Help button in the top toolbar, select Tutorials, then click Start on the Cuboids across time card.The tutorial covers:
  • Selecting and copying a cuboid
  • Pasting the cuboid onto a later frame using Shift+click
  • Interpolating between keyframes (Shift+I)
  • Viewing the cuboid trajectory
  • Enabling Auto interpolate in editor settings
  • Editing the trajectory in grid view
  • Toggling a keyframe (Alt+K)
  • Locking the cuboid size
  • Marking an object as static (Alt+S)
The tutorial auto-advances each step when the editor detects you have completed the corresponding action. You can re-expand any completed step by clicking its title to re-read the instructions.
