# Subscribe to Release Notes

> Learn how to subscribe to Release Note updates

## Slack

You can receive regular release note updates directly in the Slack channel of your choice.

### 1. Ensure the RSS app is Installed

1. In Slack, navigate to [Manage Apps](https://slack.com/intl/en-gb/help/articles/1500009181142-Manage-app-settings-and-permissions) and see whether RSS is installed.

2. If RSS is not installed, install RSS in your Slack workspace. Instructions can be found [here](https://slack.com/intl/en-gb/help/articles/202035138-Add-apps-to-your-Slack-workspace).

### 2. Subscribe to the RSS feed

1. In Slack, open the channel where you want RSS updates to appear.
2. Enter the following command:

`/feed subscribe https://docs.encord.com/release-notes/releasenotes-2025/rss.xml`

A confirmation message from the RSS bot appears.

## Email

You can use a third-party service such as [Blogtrottr](https://blogtrottr.com) to receive regular release note updates directly by email, by subscribing to our RSS feed: `https://docs.encord.com/release-notes/releasenotes-2025/rss.xml`.
